School-based social workers are close partners in home-school co-operation. They are stationed in school two days a week, actively contacting parents, and taking up important tasks on school campus.
- To connect with parents, identify their needs at early stage, provide appropriate support, counseling, strengthen physical, mental and spiritual health
- To promote parental education, help parents establish correct parenting attitude, encourage parent-child relationship, and give appropriate expectations to the development of children
- To use different strategies to build up a campus culture embracing love and care, tolerance, respect and mutual assistance
- To support families and provide crisis management for needy cases.
